And so... we have begun our latest venture in goat breeding! The 5 kids are about a day and a half old and all but one are doing well. Riley has named our little runt Precious. She is the tiniest goat I've ever seen! Needless to say, she has kept us very busy. She is nursing from a bottle every two hours now and is more and more alert. We've had to give her warm baths and she must sleep on a warm pad because she can not keep her body temp up. She's been on the brink of death three times now, but is slowly gaining strength. We sure hope she makes it!
